Ready for Spring!

One full week after the first day of Spring and we get another few inches of snow! Where did that nice warm weather go?

At least we had Grandma Phyllis and Grandpa Tim here for a visit. Luke enjoyed showing them his photo album - especially the part with his birthday cake and presents.

Jack spent some quality time with Grandpa Tim.....

......and Grandma Phyllis.

Look at me! I have learned how to smile. :)

(Thanks for the outfit Aunt Laura - it's hard to believe it fits already!)

This is how we found Luke sleeping in bed one night. We never know how we will find him.

This is where I found Luke after I heard him calling for help. Kitchen cabinets can be used for many different purposes! We are definitely ready for some warmer weather so we can get outside.

Luke Turns 1!!

Today we celebrated Luke's first birthday! It was a great day for Sarah and I to enjoy just spending time with him. Sarah started the day by making special pancakes for us to eat for breakfast. I remember Mom making Micky Mouse pancakes when I was younger so that sounded like a good idea (they are also very easy to do!). I went into work a little bit later to to allow a little bit longer for breakfast; I could get used to that. Luke had a friend come over during the morning and they played in his little pool. It looks like he is really going to be a water baby. The only that dampens his spirit is getting cold. Once I returned home from work Sarah had dinner ready and waiting. Luke enjoyed some good comfort food of chicken and mashed potatoes. In celebration of the event Luke partook of a couple firsts for him. He was able to taste and greatly enjoy his first cake and also a couple sips of genuine Coca Cola. Much to our surprise he enjoyed it and wanted more. After his coke and cake we finished out the evening with Luke opening his birthday presents. Trucks, airplanes, and all the good boy toys. Hope you enjoy the pictures.
